Patricia & Otis March 14, 2009

This morning we completed our first wedding of the season. It was a small, elegant and loving affair held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC. The thing that I remember most about this wedding (just a meer 6 hours later) are the smiles on eveyone’s faces, the bride and groom, the wedding party and even the guests. Her colors were pink and silver, a perfect match. The ceremony was beautifully and simply set in one of the ballrooms at the resort. One of the best touches of the ceremony was the aisle runner. It was a fabric aisle runner with the bride and grooms monogram and wedding date on it in pink and silver. Her wedding programs were white fans with pink ink, just a classy touch to a wonderful day.

For the reception which was just knock out beautiful, there were square glass vases with pink and purple roses along with a beautiful pink lily. There were silver chargers on the table and beautifully folded napkins along with menu cards with the Grandover logo on top. As favors the bride and groom gave wine glasses with their names and wedding date on each, along with a small bottle of sparkling wine. The perfect gifts, not only that, but each glass and bottle of wine were in pink bags with the bride and grooms name and wedding date in silver.

It was a small intimate guest list but it couldn’t have been more perfect. With about 60 guests in attendance it seemed like they choose all the people in the world that loved them, and each one attended. I was and still am so honored to have been a part of Patricia and Otis’ special day. I wish them the best of luck and all of the happiness in the world.

Today is a great day to be a wedding planner.
