Ceremony Readings…make them count | Greensboro Wedding Planner

Lots of brides and grooms wait until the last-minute to write their wedding vows or choose a reading – they will at least get it done before the wedding programs go off to the printers.  Make this easy on yourself.  Take your time and get it done over a period of time.

Try using a page from your favorite book, words from a special song or a poem.  You want your guests to be touched by what you say or you can make them chuckle, but most of all you want the spirit of the one that you are going to marry to soar.

Here are some great places to start: Love sonnets from Shakespeare, Chilean or read Emily Dickenson.  If you want something biblical try Genesis 2 18:44; Proverbs 31 10:13 – 19:20 – 30:31; Song of Solomon 2 10:13 or Colossians 3:12-17.

Happy Planning!
